What type of tractor would I need to mow 14 acres?
ByI am looking to buy a tractor to mow 14 acres that a hilly pasture makes up most of it. I would also use it to pull out stumps and level out our gravel driveway. I have no idea what I need to buy. Any suggestions will be greatly appericiated.
Massey Ferguson makes the best tractors on the market. They use mostly all steel for their tractors. Whereas Deere, Kubota, New Holland, etc, use more plastic. Masseys are more heavy duty. Go check out a Massey. Trust me, they are the best!
we live on a 13 acre woody land and my dad owns a kubota compact tractor. He mostly uses it for halling durt and leveling ground but a mower can be used on it as well. He reasurched what the best tractor would be for that kind of stuff and he found kabota brand to be the best in transmistion and weightlifting ect..
I would deffinatly look at their web site and they’ll probably have what your looking for.
We also have a rtv from them as well and they work great. We haven’t had any problems with them.
Hope this helped

kubota make the best so far , buy one with a bucket o n the front, then you can pull, dig ,clean tip .etc etc
maybe second hand one would work .
but they have great plans , ask them at there office .
or go on line
they are pricey but worth every penny
